Last week was the start of a new Uprising for Revolt Fitness but I completed my 6th week in the program. A new Uprising means that everyone starts over with the detox diet as a way to rid your body of sugar. Most of the foods that are part of the detox diet I have a sensitivity to so I just improvised. I tried to stick with the plan as far as fitness and diet are concerned. But if you remember, yesterday I said I got a new job and I am trying to adjust to working full time and maintaining my fitness routine. It will take time.
I had a few failures but for the most part my diet was pretty clean. I may not have worked out daily and I may have had that donut on National Donut Day but I am learning. I do not consider Revolt Fitness to be a fad diet. I consider it to be a lifestyle change and that means that I will have my up's and I will have my down's but in the end it is a learning process.
Here is a part of what I ate instead of the detox diet last week.

Even for not working out or following the fitness routine, my numbers are pretty good. I am going to say that is because I have been really good with my eating habits even with all of the changes that have been happening in this household. Next week I am going to try and get my numbers posted for you all and some before and current photos. I am working on it.
How do you stay healthy while maintaining a full time job?

I was better at working out when I had a full-time job. I would go to the office gym almost every day. Now that I'm at home?... hmm, not so much.
ReplyDeleteThose lettuce wraps looks yummy!
I think it is such a hard balance working full time, eating well, and exercising. Last year I struggled so much with just being plain tired after work and not having the energy to workout. I was best if I forced myself to workout before work....but we all know how early mornings go haha
ReplyDeleteYour meals look delish to me! Working full time and trying to maintain fitness is difficult, I find that introducing my coworkers to new recipies and finding friends who want to try classes or yoga with me after work really helps :)
