Hello from Missouri! We made the two-day drive through Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois to arrive in our new home state. Now begins the fun of searching for a house and establishing ourselves in the midwest once again.

With work, house tours, paperwork, and exploring, I have some busy days ahead of me. Because of this, I wanted to share five tips that will help you get through any busy day.

Schedule time to workout
It may not be easy to want to take some ‘unnecessary’ time for yourself when your calendar is already jammed packed. But you might notice a little boost in productivity if you just give yourself a 20-minute sweat session (squeeze in a little more time if you can).

Stay hydrated
A dehydrated mind is fatigued and can cause confusion. Try and make it a habit to drink half of your body weight in ounces of water (i.e. if you weigh 150 lbs, try to drink 75 ounces of water each day).

Don’t skip your meals
I know you won’t have time to create a five course meal, but don’t skip out on precious nutrients just because you are too busy. But I do understand that some days are just beyond crazy and will leave you wanting to reach for a donut, or a cookie, or burger, or something that is not the healthiest. However, you have other optionsMeta Appetite Control from Walgreens (scroll to the end for more info).

Stay off social media
Even if this is your job. Okay, so if this is your job, you don’t have to completely stay off social media. I would suggest allowing yourself 10-15 minutes for each platform on busy days. We all know that social media can be a big black hole that will suck you in and spit you out 3 days later. By setting a timer for only 10-15 minutes, you can dedicate any remaining time to be more productive in other areas.

Schedule your day
You can either make a to-do list or fill out your daily calendar with tasks that need to get done. Then you are able to check off each task as you complete them and can coordinate your day accordingly. I personally love being able to physically cross items off my to-do list.

Meta Appetite Control is the #1 doctor recommended fiber brand with 100% natural psyllium fiber. And for those of you that know anything about fiber - fiber gives you that full-feeling and also helps to keep you regular (if you know what I mean). Also, Meta Appetite Control is clinically proven to help you reduce your appetite between meals.  The psyllium fiber forms a thick gel that aids in the sensation of fulness. So instead of reaching for those high fat, high sugar snacks on busy days, drink a glass of Meta Appetite Control to help satisfy you between meals.
