We Are Michiganders

Hi friends! I feel like I have not spoke to any of you in such a long time.

Even though it has only been a week.

I thought it would be fun if I recapped my last week as just a brief post. And then in a few days I can elaborate more on a few particular items. This is how last week went while my in-laws were in town.

We spent one day in San Francisco. The weather was gloomy and cold but we are Michiganders!

Hubby and I have been dying to go to Alcatraz but just never made it out way there or the tickets were sold out. Since my in-laws were in town, it was a great excuse to buy tickets in advance. 

We were not disappointed one bit.

 We ate out a lot and had really fantastic food. 

Hubbies parents took us out to celebrate our anniversary and we were presented with this.

We found ourselves in Stockton one day and it is a ritual to stop by my favorite Sushi Bar.

 

We also did a little bit of shopping. Hubby and I have been waiting on this 

bed for over 3 months. It is our first furniture purchase as a married couple. 

Plus, his parents were nice enough to help us put it together.
