By now, you should definitely know I'm a runner. I talk about it so often here that it's hard for you to miss. While I've been covering what I've learned while running and testing out different clothes that work best for running during the summer - I want to talk about hair today.
Those of you that partake in any type of physical activity understand the sweat bun. I guess I should disclose that this post is focused towards women with longer hair. Sorry to the 2.5% of men that visit and the women with extremely short hair. But that doesn't mean CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ Intense Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner wouldn't benefit the masses.
Okay, back to the sweat bun. I tie my hair up in a bun before running just so I can have the possibility of breathing in 80+ percent humidity. Then I finish my run and I am left with this sweaty, rat's nest that is in dire need of some help. The brutal twisting and pulling of my hair means that finding a nourishing shampoo and conditioner is a must.
So what exactly should you be looking for in a shampoo and conditioner? Let me explain.
Look at what the brand is claiming. True hair strength comes from the scalp, not the shaft of the hair. It's important at what products are claiming, like CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ focuses on nourishing the scalp for beautifully strong hair, from root to tip.
Hydration. Okay, this is pretty similar to moisturizing, but remember how important it is for your body to drink plenty of water especially if you are active. The same can be said for your hair. CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™is infused with cactus extract which is a known hydrator.
Labor Day is the unofficial end to summer, so now is a perfect time to transition to fall care. I didn't realize that seasonal shedding was a thing for humans, but it is. This is more the reason to try CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ Intense Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner to strengthen and nourish now.
How are you protecting and nourishing your hair? Do you rock the sweat bun daily?

Click to tweet: Hair strength comes from the scalp. What to look for in a shampoo & conditioner.Look for ingredients that will help moisturize. Sweat plays a large part in dehydrating and damaging your scalp and hair, but the environment can be worse. I run outside in direct sun and we all know what the sun does to our skin - just imagine your hair. CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™is formulated with Nutrium 10™, an advanced moisture complex of vitamins and nutrients including vitamins B5, C & E, sunflower, almond, soybean & coconut oils, glycerin & aloe vera.

I've started wearing a cap when spending long amounts of time outside to protect my highlighted hair. Annnd my hair is sweaty 5 out of 7 days. This looks like a cool product to try!
ReplyDeleteI should probably invest in a breathable cap for running. I get so overheated already, but it'd be a smart idea. And I don't think there's one day that my hair doesn't get sweaty. :)
