So I worked all day Friday and 7 hours on Saturday then the fun really began around this joint.
Saturday afternoon we went grocery shopping and picked up some beers to enjoy at home. Then we enjoyed our beers with the puppy sitting outside on our patio/balcony. There is nothing more relaxing then sitting outside at night watching the sun set or go behind the trees.
Sunday we started the day with some cinnamon rolls and then a short run to burn some calories. Of course Sunday is also my day to get everything done for the week. That means all of the meals prepped and/or cooked, laundry, blogging, showering kidding - I shower daily and whatever else.
This Sunday was different. I still managed to cooked all 10 lunches and all dinners were prepped but A and I snuck out of the house for a little day-date. What did we do? We went to the movies and saw one of the best movies ever. Like ever. And it was our first 3D movie experience. We are definitely far, far behind when it comes to technology. Ready for cheesy smile? 3..2..1..
Well now I am off to inhale some beers, cocktails, and a little pasta for dinner remember I blog on Sunday's. It is going to be a long week.
How was your weekend? Have you ever seen a 3D movie?
I feel your pain! I had to work all weekend too. I'm so jealous of everyone else's fun weekends. I love 3D movies, though the glasses start to get on my nerves after awhile. I saw Lion King in 3D when it was in theaters for a little while awhile back. I mean, it's LION KING. How could I not? What movie did y'all go see?

My husband had to work a ton this weekend so I took off to my parents' house... I'm a supportive wife, huh? ;) But hopefully he gets caught up while I'm away.
ReplyDeleteI went to see Avatar a while ago. I think that was the last 3D movie.
ugh that sucks to have to work over the holiday! :( sounds like you still had fun (cooking all your meals on Sunday is so so smart...I should get on that).
ReplyDeleteWhat movie did you see? 3D sometimes makes me sick, but I've gotta say it does make the movie a whole new experience!
Sounds like a fun weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI so hate when that happens that you are working and everyone else (including hubby) is off work enjoying themselves! It happens a lot, since I work weekends too! :p What movie did you watch? I have been to a few in 3D but not a big fan as I find it a bit troublesome with the glasses! It is pricey too! ;)
