a traveling Wife: Keg Stands, Jello Shots, and Bad Decisions

Keg Stands, Jello Shots, and Bad Decisions

Wow, today is Wednesday!
Yesterday I thought I would be productive and get some things done around the house, run some errands, and sit outside in the sun to read a book.
Clearly being productive does not leave time to blog.

What a beautiful day it was yesterday.
While I was able to get some running done, spent some time in HobbyLobby, cleaned a little of the house, and sat outside, I then spent the remainder of the evening starting at 5pm on the couch with a migraine. This weather here in Indiana drives my body crazy, as I have had 2 migraines in 4 months.

The puppy was so sweet to me when I had a headache insert sarcasm. She would bark and bark out the window while my head was pounding - I would have much preferred to have my leg amputated without any medication. She would then jump on the couch, stand right on my stomach looking at me, then I would get a nice slap to the face. Apparently my little child needs a lot of attention and if she doesn't get it, she is abusive. After being slapped a couple of times, she laid down to snuggle.
I think she was guilty, or maybe not.

Hubby, A, came home and graciously offered to cook my sick head some yummy dinner - grilled cheese on asiago bread with granny smith apples and bacon get in my belly.

Side note: Hubby from now on will be referred to as 'A'. I am sure by now you are sick of
hearing me say 'Hubby' in every single post. He now has a name - A.

I took a whole bunch of medicine last night in hopes it would help me sleep and get rid of the headache.  It failed because I woke up feeling like I was doing keg stands, jello shots, and making bad decisions the night prior.

I am hoping that today it will finally rain thunder storm so that my body can get back to normal.

Don't forget, today is the last day to join Kate and I for the Faces behind the Blogger linkup.
It was so much fun.

  5. I hope you are doing lots better and that your body adjusts! My dogs are the same, they bark and hit and kick and lick and step on me when I am sick? maybe they are just saying their sympathies? (or not...)
